ABOUT US

In 1902, the Navy League of the United States was founded with the encouragement of President Theodore Roosevelt. Since then, the Navy League has advocated on behalf of the sea services to Congress and to the American people, growing into the foremost citizens’ organization to serve and support the sea services – the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Coast Guard and U.S.-flag Merchant Marines. Learn more about the history and legacy of the U.S. Navy League by watching the following video, brought to you by the U.S. Navy League Headquarters in Washington D.C.

WHAT WE DO

The Singapore Council was chartered in 1994, and we are committed to enhancing the lives of the men and women serving in the U.S. sea services and their families in the Singapore community. The Navy League seeks to facilitate connections and understanding between the U.S. sea services and the broader international community through its events and programming. We, at the Singapore Chapter of the U.S. Navy League, offer a variety of benefits to our members, as well as visiting women and men of the U.S. sea services.
